Overview

At Zuul, our partnerships with companies, buildings, landlords and other Market Partners are the centerpiece of the company. This role will ensure high adoption within each partnership, while also understanding new opportunities to upsell our services. They will be responsible for launching Market Partners successfully, driving adoption and ultimately responsible for the satisfaction of our partners. The right person will be proactive and resourceful, have knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, customer success, and bring an operations-oriented mind to ensure smooth collaboration with our Zuul restaurant hubs. They will collaborate across the organization to complete their responsibilities, coordinating with marketing, logistics and ops. This position is both strategic and hands on; whether you are creating a launch strategy, collaborating with marketing on campaigns, turning leads into customers, or launching a new building, this position provides you with the opportunity to develop and strengthen your leadership, customer service, sales, and strategic planning skills.

This role will join the Growth team, a dynamic group that collaborates throughout the organization to bring Zuul’s innovations to life with our partners. We are building an innovative new way to think about food delivery and are looking for someone to join us in this mission.

Account Executive responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate with Business Development Reps to launch Market Partners successfully with appropriate logistics, pricing, schedule and menu
  • Ensure high adoption within each partnership, while also understanding new opportunities to upsell our services
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop launch campaigns inclusive of print & digital materials, as well as pop-ups, surprise & delight initiatives, and other events and strategies
  • Project manage the various components of launching new Market Partners, continuously improve the launch structure
  • Define and own strategic account plans to deepen Market Partner relationships and unlock investment in Zuul products and services
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and build mutually-committed relationships with customers
  • Create decks and other collateral as needed for defining launch strategies, communicating and presenting to clients, etc.
  • Proactively engage and educate Market Partners on new capabilities that can unlock mutual value
  • Implement sales tools and process to increase productivity and adoption rate
  • Work with the operations team to thoughtfully coordinate new partner launches utilizing shared systems to manage the flow of information, building new systems when necessary
  • Find innovative solutions to new problems, handle discussions flexibly from technological to business-oriented, work to continuously improve our systems through new ideas
  • Exceed revenue targets for you and your team
  • Hone in on relevant customer trends to build business cases in support of new requests and/or changes to product roadmap; work with product team to communicate the needs or user story
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, driving narrative to create enthusiasm among prospects
  • As Zuul continues to grow, come with a builder’s mentality; bring ideas and creativity to the wider sales team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2 years or more account management experience

  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

  • Adept at solving problems that span business and technology

  • Project management skills

  • Proven ability to establish and grow C-level relationships

  • Inherently collaborative; demonstrated cross-functional leadership

  • Demonstrated experience navigating through a complex sales cycle and closing strategic business with a customer identified as Zuul's top prospects

  • Experienced in selling transformation/visionary solutions (demand creation vs. fulfillment)

  • Experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS preferred

  • Salary is commensurate with experience
